BSc Medical Laboratory Technology

On completion of the course the candidate shall:-

1. Aware of the principle undergoing the organization of a clinical laboratory.
2. Able to do routine and special investigative procedures in medical laboratory practice.
3. Have a good theoretical and practical background to work in the field of Medical Laboratory Technology.
4. Develop knowledge and skill in accordance with the society’s demand in Medical Laboratory Technology.
5. Qualified for official approval as Medical Laboratory Technologist.
6. Able to operate and maintain all equipments used in laboratory practice.
7. Able to establish and manage a clinical or research laboratory.

ELIGIBILITY

BSc MLT (Medical Laboratory Tchnology) – 4 year Course

Duration – 4yr

Eligibility – Candidate who has passed Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or Examinations recognized equalent there to, with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English put together are eligible.

 

Allotment of seat – 50% of the seats are to be filled on the basis of allotment made by the Govt.of Kerala through LBS & 50% is reserved for management quota of which 15% is for NRI’S

Total No of Seat – 30

Selection procedure – As per the norms of Kerala University of Health Science and

Kerala Paramedical Council
